Saturday Superhero Binge on a Thursday

FF2 is due out this weekend. I didn't particularly like the first movie so my hopes aren't too high, even with the CGI'd Silver Surfer and after being inundated with The Rise of the Silver Surfer TV ads. Too much of the cast was grossly miscast. The only one they got right was Johnny Storm. I've heard over the 'Net that Reed and Doom will have to join forces to stop the Surfer. This little tidbit (if true) along with the mixing up of powers is just wrong. I'm a firm believer that whenever a movie strays far from the source material, the movie will fall flat on its face. (Maybe I should go into more detail on this theme in a later post...)
